SHIPPING & RETURNS
Shipping Policy
First Tank ships strictly to the continental USA, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and APO addresses. We do not ship internationally.
Shipping cost and time is determined by current carrier rates and transit details. Shipping charges are not included in product prices, and we do not add handling fees or other charges to the shipping cost shown at checkout. We currently ship using USPS services and insure all packages.
Return & Refund Policy
First Tank has a 30-day risk-free return policy on all non-living products. We do not accept returns of individual items that are purchased with a kit, but will accept a return of the full kit as purchased. Full order returns will be refunded in full upon receipt of the return by our team (we will not issue a refund for an order before receiving all products within the purchase as a return). If a component of a kit is returned, we will refund the value of that component, but not of the full kit.
NOTE: Repairs and replacements are not "returns" and are exempt from our 30-day Returns Policy.

First Tank offers a 12-month Coverage & Replacement Warranty for the following items:

Bio sponge and air stone unit

The 12-Month coverage allows for a one-time free replacement of the above items for the following reasons: ​

Mechanical Malfunction/Defect

Premature breakage during intended use

Structural compromise (not due to carrier damage, or intentional damage)
To request a replacement part, you will need to provide JPEG images of the damaged or malfunctioning item and a short video of the mechanical malfunction when applicable. Photos and videos can be submitted to our personnel at service@first-tank.com.
Replacement parts are subject to a discounted purchase fee after the first 12 months of purchase.
Tank Repair & Replacement
After years of use, the bonding of acrylic containers can ware, causing water leakage and structural issues. In some cases the container can be repaired and does not have to be replaced. Our repair service includes prepaid shipping, a free assessment by our team and a $30 repair fee. If the container we receive cannot be repaired, or after repair continues to malfunction, we will offer to send you a new container at a discounted price. ​
